Hi, I am Irena. And this is the story of this website.
Some time ago I worked as a conservation specialist in “Earth and Men” museum in Sofia. It was the place where I met crystals – from giant monocrystals weighing tons to small and beautiful specimens of precious stones – both mineral and faceted. It was a magic that made me fall in love with this so pure beauty. All of the stones that are described on these pages have passed through my hands. It was incredible. Seeing and touching so much beauty after time I realized that I lost the desire to possess it. Because love excludes the possession. So one day I decided that I can try to share this love – with you, who visited and liked these pages.
A man was walking along the beach in the quiet night, and thought:
How happy I would be if I had a new car ....
How happy I would be if I had a new house ...
How happy I would be if I had a good job ...
How happy I would be if I had a perfect woman ...
At that moment he fell over a bag of pebbles. He began to play with pebbles, throwing them one by one into the sea, and kept thinking:
If I had a ... I'd be happy ...
So when there was only one pebble in the bag he decided to keep it.
As he returned home he noticed that the stone was actually a precious diamond.
He remembered how many diamonds he has thrown into the sea while playing with them without noticing that they are precious stones. So the people do...
Dream about what they don’t have without paying attention to the things that are around them.
If you look closely, you will see how happy you really are ...
Happiness is much closer than you think ...
Every little stone could be seen as
Every little stone can be a precious diamond! Our every day can be a precious and irreplaceable diamond!
Each of you can decide for yourself whether to hold the stone or throw it into the sea ... Do you play with pebbles?
